The characters, specially Rachel, could have been more fleshed out, but that didn’t hurt the story in any way for me. Shine was a pretty fun and entertaining read! I didn’t really know what to expect before picking this up, but the fast-paced story and the easy writing hooked me right from the first chapter. He’s also the first person who really understands how badly she wants her star to rise. It’s not just that he’s charming, sexy, and ridiculously talented.
